Job summary

The Farmhouse at Redcoats, part of Anglian Country Inns, is seeking an experienced Bar Supervisor to lead our high-volume beverage program at Hitchin. You will craft a garden-to-glass drink experience using seasonal ingredients harvested from our on-site garden.

Join a creative team, manage bar stock, uphold hygiene standards, mentor staff and drive guest satisfaction through exceptional service and a welcoming atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in bar supervision and guest-facing leadership.
• Strong knowledge of beverage operations in high-volume environments.
• Excellent communication and team-mentoring abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support the site in creating a great and welcoming environment for guests.
• Stay on top of bar stock, ordering, cellar conditioning and hygiene.
• Encourage the team to take pride in their work and maintain high service standards.
• Drive repeat custom and sales in the bar through exceptional guest experiences.
• Manage guest requests and escalate complaints when needed.

This role is perfect for a creative professional who wants to craft a true "garden-to-glass" drink experience, utilizing fresh, seasonal ingredients harvested directly from our on-site garden.

• To effectively manage guest complaints, escalating if required

• Communicate effectively with your managers, your team and the guests
