Overall aim of the job:

The combined role of 'Bar Staff/Waiting Staff' is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to guests in the hotel’s dining areas, including restaurants, bars, room service, and event spaces.

They will work closely with other team members to ensure guests receive a high-quality dining experience that meets the hotel’s standards.

Requirements:
Applicants must be 18 or over due to the requirement of selling alcohol.

Please note, West Court Retreat is not on a public transport route, so please consider necessary travel arrangements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and engage guests, delivering top-tier customer service.
• Process transactions efficiently, including cash, credit/debit card payments, and membership cards.
• Perform opening and closing procedures for shifts.
• Upsell food, drinks, and snacks to maximise revenue.
• Maintain a clean and welcoming restaurant environment during and after service.
• Demonstrate thorough knowledge of the menu to assist with recommendations.
• Comply with licensing regulations.
• Adapt to various responsibilities as needed.
• Passionate about hospitality and guest service.
• Attention to detail and high standards of presentation.
• Strong team player with a flexible, adaptable approach.
• Effective interpersonal communication skills.
• Professional demeanour in all aspects of work.
