Cicchetti Covent Garden is seeking a Bar Manager to lead daily bar operations in our Covent Garden venue. You will oversee service, stock control, and team performance to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Key duties include running shift briefs, managing budgets, mentoring staff, and driving sales while maintaining health and safety standards. Competitive industry pay, plus extensive colleague benefits.

Qualifications

• 2 years' experience in a similar role.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Able to manage shifts and training.

Responsibilities

• Hold daily shift briefs.
• Hold weekly bar meetings, discuss rotas, stocks, sales & events.
• Organise and run shifts as a duty manager.
• Monitor Spend Per Head and budget spend for the bar.
• Oversee bar stock control, wastage, ordering and invoicing.
• Plan a two-week rota and forecast future staffing needs.
• Arrange training for new starters and existing staff.
• Conduct 1-to-1 reviews for career progression.
• Coordinate with General Manager for guidance and training.
• Recruit and ensure strong candidate experience.
• Onboard new staff with CPL compliance and training.
• Maintain Talent Pipeline and succession plans.
• Ensure monthly health checks and safety compliance.
