We are looking for an experienced Bar Manager to be part of our team for the restaurant Chets at The Hoxton, Shepherd's Bush.

The Hoxton Shepherd’s Bush is our fourth London Hoxton, located in the heart of Shepherd’s Bush, an eclectic and diverse neighborhood. It features 237 playfully designed bedrooms, an all-day restaurant - Chet’s serving Thai American comfort food, a large open lobby with vintage seating and cozy corners, and a central wraparound bar and terrace. It is perfectly situated for exploring West London.

Chet’s offers a Thai-Americana cuisine, combining fragrant flavors and smoky textures of Thailand and the surrounding region with the comforts of a classic American diner.

We are seeking an experienced Bar Manager to join our team at Chets, The Hoxton Shepherd's Bush.

The location offers a vibrant environment with a focus on innovative bar concepts and guest experience.

Job Description

What you'll do...

1. Manage a fun and fast-paced bar operation day and night.
2. Be creative, share ideas, develop and implement our bar strategy, and stay ahead of trends.
3. Create seasonal menus aligned with Chet's ethos and The Hoxton brand.
4. Develop a beverage program to establish a “destination bar” profile.
5. Lead your team by example, maintaining high service standards and encouraging team development.
6. Train staff for cocktail competitions.
7. Know your products and systems thoroughly.
8. Ensure all items are correctly set up on POS and F&BShop with accurate pricing and recipes.
9. Own your P&L and be responsible for beverage cost percentages.
10. Conduct monthly stocktakes with full stock management accountability.

Qualifications

1. 2-3 years’ experience in a bar operations role, with background in cocktail menu development, preferably in a luxury or lifestyle bar environment.
2. Experience with stock management.
3. F&BShop literacy.
4. Experience working with brands and account managers.
5. Experience with brand activations.
