Brocket Hall is searching for an experienced Bar Manager to lead our vibrant bar operations at one of the UK's most prestigious estates. You will oversee all aspects of bar management, including staffing, inventory, and ensuring the highest quality of service and beverages. Responsibilities
  • Oversee the daily operations of the bar, ensuring the highest standards of service, cleanliness, and presentation.
  • Develop and implement an innovative and seasonal cocktail menu that enhances the overall guest experience.
  • Recruit, train, and manage bar staff to maintain exceptional service levels, conducting regular performance reviews and offering growth opportunities.
  • Monitor inventory levels, manage stock control, and place orders to ensure the bar is well-stocked with high-quality products.
  • Maintain compliance with all health, safety, and licensing regulations within the bar.
  • Create and implement training programs for staff on drink preparation, customer service, and product knowledge.
  • Assist with financial management tasks including budgeting, revenue tracking, and identifying cost-effective measures.
  • Foster positive relationships with guests to enhance their experience and encourage repeat visits.
  • Collaborate closely with other departments to coordinate bar services for events and functions.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging beverage trends to innovate and elevate the bar offerings.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Bar Manager or similar role in upscale establishments, preferably within the hospitality sector.
  • Strong knowledge of mixology, beverage trends, and customer service excellence.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills with a focus on staff development and training.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage inventory and control costs effectively.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships with guests and staff alike.
  • A proactive problem solver with a strong ability to handle high-pressure situations.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as per the operational requirements of the bar.
  • Relevant certifications in bartending, mixology, or beverage management are advantageous.
