Our client's golf course is surrounded by an area of outstanding natural beauty. The clubhouse is architecturally designed to blend seamlessly into the countryside, offering a serene yet vibrant atmosphere. The 18-hole championship course is meticulously maintained, providing an exceptional golfing experience for its members.
About the Role:
As the Bar Manager, you will be responsible for the smooth operation of the clubhouse bar. This includes maintaining the bar and cellar, managing orders, serving beverages and food, and ensuring exceptional customer service. You will also oversee bar staff, manage stock, and handle administrative tasks to ensure compliance with club policies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure the bar and cellar are well-maintained, clean, and stocked.
• Prepare the clubhouse for daily operations and special events.
• Take and manage drink and food orders, ensuring a seamless service experience.
• Serve hot and cold drinks with professionalism and a friendly attitude.
• Serve a variety of food items, maintaining high standards of presentation and hygiene.
• Conduct regular stock takes, manage inventory, and place orders to ensure adequate supplies.
Requirements:
Essential:
• Personal License Holder or willing and able to apply.
• Proven experience in bar management or a similar hospitality role.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
• Knowledge of stock management and ordering processes.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Desirable:
• Experience in a members-only club setting.
• Knowledge of golf club operations.
• Familiarity with high-end beverage and food service.
