Job summary

Namaste Lounge in Northwood is seeking an experienced Bar Manager to lead our busy bar operations. You will manage the bar team, uphold exceptional service standards, control stock and costs, and drive smooth operation of both our main bar and garden bar.

The ideal candidate has prior Bar Manager or Assistant Bar Manager experience in a high-volume venue, with strong cocktail and beverage knowledge, and a proven track record in staff development, stock control and cost management.

• Strong cocktail, spirits and beverage knowledge.
• Proven experience managing and training a bar team.
• Good understanding of stock management, ordering and cost control.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Bar Manager or Assistant Bar Manager in a busy restaurant, lounge or hospitality venue.
• Strong cocktail, spirits and beverage knowledge.
• Proven experience managing and training a bar team.
• Good understanding of stock management, ordering and cost control.
• Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and a hands-on approach.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
