As Bar Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day management of the Bar at The Pelican. Working closely with the General manager you will be responsible for leading a dedicated team, delivering outstanding customer service, and maintaining the highest standards. What you'll be doing a Bar manager at The Pelican:

  • Manage the bar, oversee daily bar operations, ensuring smooth service at pace, whilst maintaining high standards.
  • Inspire and manage a team of bartenders, ensuring they deliver excellent customer service and maintain a positive work environment.
  • Develop and maintain an exciting drink menu, create a welcoming atmosphere and memorable experiences for our guests.
  • Monitor stock levels, keep track of stock usage and place orders when required.
  • Mentor and train bar staff to improve their skills and provide them with opportunities to grown within the company.
  • Work closely with the management team to implement new ideas that enhance the guest experience and drive business growth.

About you, our new Bar manager at The Pelican:

  • Proven experience as a bar manager, Preferably in a high-volume venue.
  • Advantageous if you have previous experience in fine dining or high end restaurants
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, manage and develop a diverse team.
  • Positive and friendly attitude, with a willingness to work collaboratively with the team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions under pressure.
  • A passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating a positive experience for guests.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
