This vibrant venue will be offering exceptional dining and drinking experiences to our guests, with a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. We take pride in serving high quality food and beverages, while delivering outstanding customer service.

The Hart in Marylebone will open in September 2025. There will be a pub on the ground floor, a restaurant on the second floor, and an intimate dining space on the top floor. The kitchen will serve pub classics on all floors.

As Bar Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day management of the Bar at The Hart . Working closely with the General manager you will be responsible for leading a dedicated team, delivering outstanding customer service, and maintaining the highest standards. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with strong leadership skills, a passion for the hospitality industry, and a commitment to creating memorable experiences for our guests.

• Salary - £35,000 - £38,000 per annum + Tips (Earn an additional £15,000 per annum in tips )

What you'll be doing as a Bar Manager at The Hart :

• Manage the bar, oversee daily bar operations, ensuring smooth service at pace, whilst maintaining high standards .
• Inspire and manage a team of bartenders, ensuring they deliver excellent customer service and maintain a positive work environment.
• Develop and maintain an exciting drink menu, create a welcoming atmosphere and memorable experiences for our guests.
• Monitor stock levels, keep track of stock usage and place orders when required .
• Mentor and train bar staff to improve their skills and provide them with opportunities to grown within the company.
• Work closely with the management team to implement new ideas that enhance the guest experience and drive business growth.

About you, our Bar Manager at The Hart:

• Proven experience as a bar manager, Preferably in a high-volume venue.
• Advantageous if you have previous experience in fine dining or high end restaurants
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, manage and develop a diverse team.
• Positive and friendly attitude, with a willingness to work collaboratively with the team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions under pressure.
• A passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating a positive experience for guests.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
