Malmaison offers something different from the usual hotel bar, with guests expecting a high standard of banter, knowledge, and entertainment when grabbing a drink, whether it be a quick one (or two) after work or before a night out.

You as a Bar Manager will be a hands-on operator who, using your knowledge and experience, will motivate, educate, and inspire your team to deliver the best guest experience. You will have similar Bar Manager experience, preferably within high-profile bars, and be accustomed to high volume and maintaining high standards under pressure.

We hold internal Cocktail Competitions where you or a team member will have the opportunity to showcase cocktails by adding to the eclectic drinks menu. We encourage our Bar Teams to embrace the latest drinks trends.

There is daily and weekly paperwork to complete, but you will be familiar with stock control systems and writing rotas within a budget, so this will not be a problem. Everything else can be taught on the job.
