A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A BAR MANAGER AT THE MUNICIPAL HOTEL & SPA

What you'll be doing...

As
Bar Manager, you will manage the Bar and Palm Court floor area to an optimum
level, whilst also supporting the Restaurant Manager and Food and Beverage Ops
Manager. You will be committed to maintaining all targets financial and
operational, with the emphasis on forward planning and organisation. You will
ensure the highest quality of customer service in all areas. Ensuring training of the team is a priority.
You will proactively drive HR, Revenue, Cost Control, Sustainability and Health
& Safety initiatives throughout the department and hotel.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

We hire mostly on personality & potential but here are a few of our
requirements...

  • An operational beverage background with at least 2 years’ of managerial
    experience in a quality establishment.
  • Passion for interacting with people and the delivery of quality service,
    with the ability to direct team members and maximise productivity and revenue opportunities.
  • An established record of strategic thinking, operational excellence and
    strong product knowledge.
  • Excelling in planning, knowledge sharing,
    training and being fully communicative with your team and other departments.

Other duties include;

  • Ensure service standards and guest satisfaction are at the highest
    levels through training, mentoring, monitoring, feedback and setting
    expectations. Orchestrate a timeless memory and ensure our guests
    are delighted with our service.
  • To be fully aware of all H&S, legal compliance and procedural
    control requirements.
  • Strategically maximise sales and identify upselling opportunities.
  • Duty Management.
  • To work positively and collaboratively with all departments, brand
    and Heartists.
