What You’ll Be Doing

As Bar Manager, you will work as part of a team that delivers friendly, professional, and memorable service to all of our guests.

You will be able to motivate, train, and supervise the bartenders in the team, including managing the bar team's rota.

You will be responsible for serving drinks, making cocktails, and providing table service to all guests wishing to relax in our bar and lounge areas.

The bar team also supervises Afternoon Tea guests within the hotel, including table set-up, coordinating food service from kitchen to table, ensuring our guests receive a quality experience.

Having expert knowledge of all drinks offered will be key to making appropriate recommendations to drive sales and profitability.

You will be responsible for beverage stock management, administration, and conducting stock takes with the external stock take company.

You will work alongside the restaurant management team to control wage costs in line with budget expectations.

You will ensure all bar staff are trained in departmental health & safety, and that training records are maintained.

What You’ll Need

The successful candidate will be professional, knowledgeable, and dedicated to delivering first-class guest experiences.

You will be attentive, with strong communication and interpersonal skills, confident in building relationships with guests and staff. You will be friendly, enthusiastic, and driven to enhance service quality and guest satisfaction.

Previous hospitality experience, preferably in a hotel bar, is required, with skills in meeting, greeting, and guest interaction.

You will demonstrate strong leadership skills to oversee daily bar operations.
