Job summary

Caravan Restaurants in London is seeking an experienced Bar Manager to lead a vibrant bar team and deliver the Caravan of Love guest experience. The role offers up to £18.60 per hour, dependent on experience, reflecting our commitment to great beverages and hospitality.

You will inspire staff, welcome guests from the first impression, and collaborate with our systems (Fourth, FnB, Harri) to support a fun, well-managed service as we expand in the coming years.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to lead a hospitality team and deliver exceptional guest experiences.
• Experience with bar beverage service and staff training.
• Familiarity with licensing, health and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Caravan of Love customer experience with your team.
• Develop your team and own learning.

• Ensure compliance with weights, measures, licensing, health and safety.
• Welcome customers, take drink orders, make recommendations.

As a Caravan Bar Manager you will be responsible for;

• Delivering our ‘Caravan of Love’ style of customer experience with your team and serving up our ‘well-travelled’ food and drink, which is inspired by flavours from our founders’ native New Zealand, as well as their global travels.
• Working with your General Manager and Head Chef to nurture and develop your team.
• Your own learning in order to develop your knowledge and skills and take ownership of your role and your restaurant.
• We work with Fourth, FnB and Harri so it would be great if you have experience with these systems, although we can always show you the ropes if you haven’t.
• Follow all legal requirements regarding weights and measures, licensing laws, health, and safety as well as fire procedures.
• Welcoming customers, taking drinks orders, making recommendations, and serving our well-travelled drinks that delight our guests.
• Training and development of key team members.
• Guide, coach, and support teams during service, to develop teamwork and ensure the standard of service is always exceptional.
