This themed venue in east London is a unique high-volume, vibrant cocktail bar and club, seeking its next inspirational bar manager. The venue features 3 bars across 3 levels, ideal for an experienced manager with extensive cocktail knowledge and high-volume late-night experience.

It offers lively entertainment, including circus acts, live bands, and headline DJs in the basement club. This role is perfect for a hardworking and passionate bar manager looking to enhance leadership skills, drive sales growth, and improve profitability through stock management and P&L controls.

Skills & Responsibilities

  1. Ensure the atmosphere (lights, music, temperature, ambience) aligns with customer profile, time of day, and company standards.
  2. Maintain compliance with hygiene, health and safety, and licensing regulations.
  3. Develop staff potential through effective appraisal processes.
  4. Build sales by promoting customer satisfaction.
  5. Manage labour costs and stock consumption (food and liquor) during shifts without compromising customer experience or standards.
  6. Report accurate gross profit margins and incentivize staff to increase sales of high-GP items.
  7. Control liquor stock by conducting daily line checks, tracking variances, monitoring wastage, and performing weekly stock takes.
