Job summary

Aramark UK in Lisburn is looking for a Bar/Food Service Assistant to greet customers at Thiepval Barracks and deliver welcoming, high-quality service. You will prepare drinks and meals, serve customers, and ensure counters are replenished and clean throughout your shift.

The role is part-time (20 hours per week across four days) with evening and weekend shifts; benefits include free meals on shift, on-site parking, and access to the Employee Benefits App with discounts and GP access.

Pay rate: £12.71 per hour (over 21 rate)
Contract type: Permanent, part-time, 20 hours per week, 4 days per week
Shift times: Mon-Thursday 18.30 – 23.30; Friday 17.30 – 00.00; Saturday 16.00 -00.00; Sunday 13.00 – 18.30 / 17.30 – 23.30; Function nights 18.00 – 01.30

What you’ll do:

• Operate tills, handle cash, and deliver outstanding customer service.
• Prepare hot and cold drinks, serve food, and keep counters stocked.
• Make grab-and-go items like sandwiches, wraps, and paninis.
• Maintain cleanliness front and back of house, ensuring high standards of hygiene and safety.
• Receive and store deliveries, ensuring proper stock rotation and minimal waste.

What we’re looking for:

• Legal right to work in the UK and ability to pass security vetting and DBS checks (residency waivers available).
• Experience in a similar role in a busy kitchen or food service environment.
• A positive attitude and commitment to excellent customer service.
