Job summary

MOTLEY at YOTEL Manchester Deansgate is seeking Bar Crew to deliver great drinks and hospitality to hotel guests and locals alike.

You’ll work with the Bar Supervisor and the wider F&B team to ensure smooth bar operations, maintain high standards and create a welcoming and energetic atmosphere for everyone who walks through our doors.

Flexible shifts including evenings and weekends are required, with hourly pay plus a service charge.

Qualifications

• Previous bar or hospitality experience preferred.
• Knowledge of cocktails, wines, beers and spirits, or willingness to learn.
• Friendly, confident and professional guest service.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy bar environment.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Experience using POS/till systems is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent and friendly customer service at the bar.
• Prepare and serve cocktails, wines, beers, spirits and other beverages to a high standard.
• Take guest orders, process payments and operate the till accurately.
• Maintain a clean, organised and well-stocked bar throughout service.
• Assist with stock replenishment and communicate low stock levels to supervisors.
• Follow opening, closing and cleaning procedures.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene, food safety and health & safety.
• Follow licensing requirements and responsible alcohol service procedures.
• Answer guest questions and make recommendations from our drinks menu.
• Work closely with the wider F&B team to ensure smooth and efficient service.
• Help create the fun, relaxed and social atmosphere that makes MOTLEY what it is.
