The Chancery Rosewood – opening in Summer 2025, is a Rosewood Hotel Group property housed in the iconic former U.S. Embassy on Grosvenor Square. Reimagined by British architect Sir David Chipperfield, the hotel will feature 144 spacious suites designed by Joseph Dirand, alongside a collection of dynamic dining and entertainment spaces, providing a stage for progressive ideas, voices, and expression.

We are seeking a Bar Back to support the seamless operation of our bars, ensuring they remain well-stocked, impeccably clean, and efficiently organised. As a key member of our bar team, you will assist bartenders in creating an elevated guest experience by maintaining smooth service, upholding the highest standards of hospitality, and embodying the Rosewood commitment to excellence and innovation.

This role is due to start in June 2025.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure bartenders have all necessary supplies, including glassware, garnishes, and spirits.
  • Support the team in delivering an exceptional guest experience with efficiency and attention to detail.
  • Maintain a spotless bar area, ensuring all stations meet health and safety standards.
  • Assist bartenders with guests in a warm and professional manner.
  • Monitor stock levels and communicate replenishment needs.
  • Handle deliveries and securely store stock.

About You:

  • A passion for hospitality and beverage service with a desire to grow and develop in the industry.
  • A proactive and team-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail.
  • The ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • A keen understanding of bar operations and a willingness to support the team wherever needed.
  • Basic knowledge of hygiene, health, and safety regulations is preferred.
  • Physical ability to lift, carry, and move stock as required.
