Job summary

Cubitt House is seeking a Bar Back to support the bar team across one of our luxury London pubs. The role focuses on keeping the bar stocked, assisting bartenders, and helping with opening/closing tasks in a high-energy environment.

We welcome a positive, team-oriented candidate who enjoys drinks and hospitality. Evening and weekend flexibility is preferred, with opportunities for training and development within our award-winning pubs.

Qualifications

• Previous bar or hospitality experience preferred but not essential.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Support bartenders during service by keeping the bar fully stocked and organised.
• Replenish glassware, ice, garnishes, and bar supplies throughout service.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar and back-of-house areas.
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including deliveries and stock rotation.
• Work closely with the bar and floor teams to ensure seamless service.
• Uphold Cubitt House standards of quality, cleanliness, and hospitality.

Bar Back - £13.50-15/hour OTE (including Tronc)

We’re looking for an enthusiastic Barback to join the bar team at one of our Cubitt House Pubs. As a Barback, you’ll play a vital role in supporting the bar team, ensuring service runs smoothly and efficiently. This is a hands‑on position perfect for someone eager to learn, work at pace, and be part of a high‑energy, supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities
