Job summary

Compass Group UK&I Defence is recruiting Bar Staff in Ipswich for a part-time position (13.5 hours per week). You will craft drinks, provide excellent service, and help maintain high standards across the bar.

Shifts are in the evenings (Mon, Tue, Thurs). You’ll handle payments, learn beverages, uphold hygiene, and support a team that values progress and a positive brand image.

Qualifications

• Experience in bar service and beverage preparation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare blended drinks and serve food to a high standard.

We're currently recruiting for talented Bar Staff to help us create beautifully crafted drinks and provide exceptional customer service for Defence on a part time basis, contracted to 13.5 hours per week.

As Bar Personnel, you will use your skills to deliver first-class service and perfectly presented drinks to our customers. • Mon: Evenings
• Tues: Evenings
• Thurs: Evenings

Please note: This role is contracted to 50.2 weeks per year

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Preparing perfectly blended drinks and serving high-quality food that delights our customers
• Maintaining an effective bar service with an emphasis on high-quality, efficient service
• Keeping the bar area clean
• Having a perfect knowledge of all beverages served in the bar, how to prepare them and how they should be presented
• Receiving and processing payments (cash and credit cards)
• Being an enthusiastic team player and excellent communicator
• Representing Defence and maintaining a positive brand image
• Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards
• Complying with Health & Safety regulations
