Job summary

Exeter Golf And Country Club is seeking Bar and Waiting Assistants to join its friendly Food & Beverage team. The role involves serving in various outlets, delivering excellent customer experiences, and working in a fast-paced environment across Members’ Bars, Wear Park Restaurant, Pool Hut and private rooms.

We welcome everyone aged 18 or over. Both part-time and full-time positions are available, with flexible contracts.

Qualifications

• Customer service-focused role, no prior experience required
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills desired

Responsibilities

• Provide bar and waiting service to members and guests
• Take orders, deliver food and beverages, and ensure a positive dining experience
• Work across multiple food and beverage areas as needed
• Maintain cleanliness and assist with events or private bookings

About the role

As a members’ club, we know that it is people who make an experience exceptional so we’re looking for exceptional Bar and Waiting Assistants to join our team at Exeter Golf and Country Club.

With a range of food and drink areas, including the Members’ Bars, Wear Park Restaurant, Pool Hut and private rooms for meetings and events, the role of Bar and Waiting Assistant is varied and fast-paced at times. The role requires flexibility and excellent customer service and communication skills.

We value our members and our team and want to make the Exeter Golf and Country Club experience enjoyable for both! We want team players to join our welcoming Food and Beverage Team to keep going the extra mile along our exciting journey.

We have part-time and full-time positions available and welcome everyone aged 18 or over. Experience is great, but not necessary – simply a desire to deliver excellent customer experiences is what matters to us.
