Are high standards second nature to you? Do you love people and making guests smile every day by delivering exceptional service? Do you want to be part of something unique, working with the best food, drinks, and a brand you can be proud of? We love food, wine, and cocktails—almost as much as you do!

You should have experience working in a busy restaurant and/or bar and be looking for the next step in your career. As the face of the restaurant and bar within our hotel, you'll help manage flow and communicate with the kitchen and management team to ensure a smooth dining experience for our guests.

We operate 7 days a week, 365 days a year, and require flexibility to work various shifts and days. Typically, our busiest times are evenings and weekends, but shift patterns and hours can be discussed at interview.

We offer nationally recognized apprenticeships alongside detailed brand training to support your career development. We aim to help you become 'The Difference' in guest experiences.

Our goal is to create memorable experiences for our guests. This role could be your stepping stone to a Head of Department position within Hotel du Vin. We actively promote internal growth and career progression.

In addition to competitive pay, we offer:

  • Heavily discounted staff room rates at Malmaison, Hotel du Vin, and Frasers Hospitality, starting from £65 per night.
  • 50% off the best available rate for friends and family room bookings.
  • 35% off your bill when dining in our brasseries and bistros.
  • Fully funded apprenticeships supporting your career growth.
  • High street discounts on shops, experiences, holidays, and more.
  • Cycle to work scheme—save up to 40% on bikes.
  • Healthcare Cash Plans—including dental, optical, and medical coverage from £5/month.
  • Referral bonuses up to £1500 for successfully referring new staff.
  • A quality uniform that looks professional.
  • A Wellness & National Campaign Days Calendar promoting activities like Pay Day Lunches, National Popcorn Day, and Mental Health Awareness Week.
  • Access to Wagestream, allowing instant pay access and financial management tools.
  • Complimentary stays on your 1st, 3rd, and 5th anniversaries, including dinner, bed, and breakfast.
  • Support for The Brain Charity, aiding those with neurological conditions.
  • Employee Assistance Programme offering free, confidential advice 24/7.

Our Sustainability Goals include:

  • 100% renewable energy for our electricity, mainly from UK wind farms.
  • Recycling at least 70% of hotel waste, driven by staff efforts and sustainability initiatives.
  • Transition to chemical-free cleaning systems and eco-friendly kitchen practices.
  • Encouraging staff volunteering for sustainable charities two days per year, paid.
