Job summary

St Audries Park is a private manor wedding venue near Williton, Taunton, set in 100 acres of deer park. The role focuses on managing the waiting team to support the Personal Wedding Manager and ensure flawless event service.

The ideal candidate has a proactive attitude, a background in catering, and a willingness to participate in all duties from preparation to deep cleaning. This in-person role offers full-time hours and Arch parking.

Qualifications

• Catering experience: 1 year preferred.
• Proactive attitude and initiative.
• Ability to work well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Manage the waiting staff so the Personal Wedding Manager can devote time to running an event.
• Assist with rotaring and staffing issues.
• Oversee the food and canape service.
• Ensure the waiting team have good knowledge of food and beverages served at each event.
• Ensure smooth running of food and canape service.
• Participate in all preparation, cleaning down and waiting duties, including monthly deep cleans.
• In the absence of the food and beverage manager, complete a monthly stock take on the 1st of every month and send the spreadsheet to the Venue Manager.

About the role / Main duties

• To manage the waiting staff so that the Personal Wedding Manager can devote his/her time to running an event
• To assist with Rotaring and staffing issues
• To oversee the food and canape service
• To ensure the waiting team have a good knowledge of food and beverages served at each event
• To ensure smooth running of food and canape service
• To participate in all preparation, cleaning down and all waiting duties along with monthly deep cleans
• In the absence of the food and beverage manager, complete a monthly stock take on 1st of every month and ensure the completed spreadsheet is sent to the Venue Manager
