Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a CDP or strong Commis Chef ready to step up.

Stableyard Catering, based at the award-winning Heaton House Farm on the Cheshire/Staffordshire border, is expanding our exceptional kitchen team. We're looking for a passionate Chef de Partie to help deliver incredible food for weddings, private dining, and high-end events. About the Role

As Chef de Partie, you'll take responsibility for a specific section of the kitchen, working closely with the Sous and Head Chef to prepare and present outstanding dishes. You'll help guide junior team members, maintain high food and hygiene standards and play a key role in delivering menus that wow our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Take ownership of your section - ensuring all dishes meet our high standards of taste and presentation
  • Prepare for service with efficiency, precision, and creativity
  • Support with the delivery of large-scale banqueting events and bespoke menus
  • Supervise junior chefs and support their training and development
  • Uphold strict food safety, hygiene and allergen practices at all times
  • Work with the team on stock control, ordering and minimising waste
  • Collaborate with front-of-house and events teams for seamless service
  • Previous experience as a CDP or strong Commis Chef ready to step up
  • A passion for food and commitment to consistently delivering quality
  • Experience in banqueting, events or high-volume catering
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Confidence working under pressure and managing time effectively
  • Level 2 or 3 Food Safety & Hygiene certificate (or willing to obtain)
  • A proactive, can-do attitude and desire to grow within a successful team
