As a Banking Representative, you will:

  1. Interact with customers as the 'face' of Metro Bank, demonstrating sound knowledge of our products and delivering exceptional customer service.
  2. Be at the forefront of customer interactions, providing personalized products and services to meet their needs.
  3. Work collaboratively as part of a team, prioritizing tasks based on customer demand and store objectives.
  4. Serve as a brand ambassador in the community, supporting the store to be the number one community bank.
  5. Stay informed about regulatory and non-regulatory training and changes to ensure compliance and fairness in all transactions.
  6. Demonstrate accountability, attention to detail, and prioritize the well-being of customers, colleagues, and Metro Bank in all operations.

Working Arrangements & Training: Metro Bank Luton operates Monday - Friday, 8:45am - 5:15pm, and Saturdays, 8:15am - 4:30pm. We are currently hiring for 37.5 hours per week across 5 days.

Requirements:

  • Ability to build strong customer relationships in a fast-paced environment.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, even under pressure.
  • Understanding of the risks associated with the role and their implications for yourself and customers.
  • Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • Experience in customer service and operating in controlled processes is essential, prior finance or banking experience is not mandatory.
