Job summary

People First Recruitment is seeking a Credit–Risk Management & Control Assistant Manager for a permanent role in London with hybrid working hours. You will evaluate creditworthiness of new and existing structured finance deals and produce reports for the Credit Committee.

The role covers portfolio analysis, quarterly reviews, macro data assessment, ad-hoc research, and collaboration with Front Office and Head Office. Relevant offshore wind project finance experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience analyzing European/UK offshore wind project finance (front or middle office).
• Experience in UK/Japanese or other international financial institutions.

Responsibilities

• Analyze creditworthiness of new and existing structured finance deals; produce review reports for Credit Committee.
• Analyze existing structured finance portfolios; circulate reviews to Branch management.
• Review Branch credit portfolio; prepare quarterly portfolio review reports for Credit Committee.
• Analyze industry and macro data for Branch portfolio; report quarterly to Credit Committee.
• Conduct ad-hoc research on credit issues in UK or relevant jurisdictions.
• Understand the Bank’s credit risk systems, especially Internal Rating System.
• Review Front Office documentation from credit risk perspective.
• Attend meetings with structured finance clients or site visits with Front Office.
• Conduct risk management tasks by Risk Management & Control staff; monitor Risk Appetite for structured finance.
• Plan and conduct Branch credit risk management for structured finance with Head Office communications.
• Periodic self-check of credit review function.

• ToplanandconducttheBranchcreditriskmanagementforstructuredfinancebusinesswithcommunicatingwithHeadOfficewhenrequired.
• Conductregular/occasionalself-checkofthecreditreviewfunction.
• Suchotherdutiesasthemanagementmay,fromtimetotime,reasonablyrequire.

Credit–RiskManagement&ControlAssistantManager-Requirements:

• ExperienceofanalysisofEuropean/UKoffshorewindprojectfinanceeitherasafrontofficeroramiddleofficer.
• ExperiencegainedineitheraUK,Japaneseorotherforeignfinancialinstitution
