Job summary
Ellisons is seeking a Banking & Finance Associate (2–5 PQE) to join its growing team in Chelmsford, Essex. The role involves advising lenders, borrowers and investors across a broad range of financing transactions, with exposure to regional clients and development of client relationships.
The successful candidate will handle bilateral and syndicated lending, real estate finance and related transactions, while contributing to business development and maintaining high professional standards.
Qualifications
- Qualified solicitor with 2–5 PQE in banking and finance
- Experience advising lenders, borrowers and investors on financing transactions
- Strong drafting, negotiation and matter management skills
Responsibilities
- Bilaterals and syndicated lending, acquisition finance and leveraged finance
- Real estate finance, development financing and investment funding
- Asset-based lending, receivables finance, private credit and alternative lender transactions
- Refinancing and restructuring matters, security reviews and enforcement, and general banking and finance advisory work
- Support regional business development initiatives and strengthen client relationships
