Role
Ranked by the prestigious Legal 500 Tier system, you will work as part of this renowned and quickly growing Glasgow Banking and Finance team alongside an expert team of colleagues.

The successful candidate will gain exposure to the full gamut of banking work, including corporate banking, real estate finance, restructuring, refinancing, acquisition finance and project finance.

Specific tasks will include drafting and negotiating facility agreements, security documentation, managing conditions precedent processes, inter-creditor arrangements and any issues that arise relating to banking transactions.

Clients include some of the most highly regarded investors and financial institutions, banks and lenders in the country. You will have the opportunity to take ownership of these clients and build a strong reputation as an expert in banking and finance law.

Your Experience

• NQ with relevant Banking and Finance experience,
• Experience in, or a strong interest in developing expertise in, corporate and transactional banking matters
• Strong drafting skills (facility agreements, security docs, inter-creditor arrangements)
• Confident in liaising with borrowers, lenders and investors
• Commercially aware with excellent client-handling skills
