Salary: £14.00 per hour + £50 per sleep-in
Contract: Bank Flexible – required to cover days and sleep nights

Kudos Support is a new and dynamic supported accommodation provider for young people aged 16+, focused on empowering them to build brighter, more independent futures. The Role:

As a Support Worker at Kudos Support, you will play an active and deeply rewarding role in supporting young people aged 16+ who may face challenges such as autism, neurodivergence, or past trauma. You will be part of their journey to independence, helping them develop the skills and confidence needed to thrive in adulthood.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting young people with independent living skills – cooking, cleaning, budgeting, and more
  • Encouraging positive routines and healthy relationships
  • Providing emotional support and promoting wellbeing
  • Responding calmly and confidently to challenging behaviour
  • Helping maintain a safe and supportive living environment
  • Recording observations, incidents, and progress accurately

What We’re Looking For

  • At least 1 year’s experience working with children or young people in care, schools, youth work, or support services
  • Confidence in dealing with behaviour that can be complex or challenging
  • Desirable: QCF Level 2 in Health and Social Care (or willingness to work towards it — full support and training provided)
  • Able to demonstrate resilience, good communication, and a nurturing approach
  • Basic computer literacy (e.g. emails, logs, digital reporting)
  • Able to cook and coach young people through everyday tasks
  • Willing to attend a face-to-face interview at our offices in Telford
