We are looking for hard working staff to work within our Waste Team as Bank staff. To collect waste from various holding locations at BTHFT sites and transfer to external waste storage areas, in a timely and compliant manner.To provide and maintain a professional, efficient, effective and timely service to all departments that will contribute to achieving safe, high quality patient care.To work as part of an internal team, working to a schedule. Communicating with colleagues, ward staff, Waste Supervisor and Waste Compliance Manager to ensure waste is moved effectively.
To move all waste streams generated within Trust sites, including clinical waste, offensive waste, general waste, furniture, and electrical items.Clearance of waste from internal waste rooms and dedicated ward or waste areas to external waste compounds or agreed storage areas dependant on waste type.
