Liverpool Women's NHS Foundation Trust is seeking experienced Bank Sonographers to provide flexible support across the ultrasound service. You will independently perform a wide range of ultrasound examinations and produce timely reports within professional standards.

The role requires continuing professional development, maintaining registration, and working across sites as needed. Bank contracts offer varied shifts and opportunities to support patient care during periods of activity and staff

Qualifications

• Current and up-to-date registration with a statutory regulator.
• Obstetric and gynaecological ultrasound experience.
• 2 years NHS experience as a Sonographer.
• PGD in ultrasound or equivalent qualification.

Responsabilités

• Independently perform and report ultrasound examinations.
• Produce accurate diagnostic reports.
• Maintain high patient care standards and confidentiality.
• Work flexibly across sites as required by service demand.
• Participate in quality assurance and CPD activities.
• Communicate findings to clinicians and patients.

Obstetric ultrasound experience

NHS experience

Formation

DCR or Degree in Radiography

MSc in Nursing or Midwifery

PGD in ultrasound
