Title: Bank Therapeutic Carer

Responsible to: Therapeutic Leaders / Registered Manager

About the Home – The home’s purpose is to make supportive, comforting and happy homes for Children who have experienced trauma, neglect or abuse. Their homes allow the children a place where they can feel loved and listened to, so that they can open up about their issues and find ways to move on and live happy fulfilled lives.

About the Role – We require Carers in the home who can support our children in the best way possible. We require adults who are caring and nurturing. Adults will need to be resilient and patient as the role can at times be difficult and you may be faced with some challenges. You must proactively strive to create a safe environment where the children feel heard and cared for. As a growing company, there will be many opportunities for progression within Safe Haven to various roles including Therapeutic Leaders and future Management positions. Progression also includes the opportunity to gain qualifications in both Level 4 Diplomas and Level 5 Leadership and Management. No experience is necessary in Children's Homes, however relevant experience with children and a positive, nurturing personality is required.

Role Requirements -

Essential - Good general education including numeracy & literacy skills. Willingness and ability to obtain and/or enhance qualifications and complete required training.

Desirable - NVQ Level 3 or 4 Caring for Children and Young People / Diploma in Children and Young People Workforce.

Shift Patterns & Pay Scales

Full Time Roles vary, including but not limited to the following examples:

1 on, 2 off including a few sleeps - up to £2,000 per Month (excluding sleep payment of £50 per sleep). All shifts are either 24 or 48 hour shifts.
