Main duties

As a Bank Registered Nurse, your responsibilities include:

  • Supporting clinical areas across the Trust as needed.
  • Ensuring compliance with policies and guidelines, including the NMC code.
  • Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care.
  • Supervising and guiding other staff, including healthcare assistants and students.

Requirements

  • RN (Adult) Registration with a current NMC license.
  • Experience in Anaesthetics, Scrub, or Recovery within the last 18-24 months.
  • Willingness to commit to a two-week induction if successful.
  • Right to work in the UK (with relevant adaptations if applicable).

Education/Training/Qualifications

  • Registered Nurse or ODP with current registration.
  • Evidence of ongoing professional development.

Work Experience

  • Relevant training for extended roles.
  • Experience in a suitable clinical setting.
  • Experience across surgical specialties as a Band 5.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Certification
