Job Title: Bank Teaching Assistant
Location: Bramfield House School, Halesworth, IP19 9AB
Salary: £12.50 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday
Contract: Bank (0 hour contract), Term time only
UK applicants only. This role does not offer sponsorship.

As part of our continued growth, we now have a fantastic opportunity for a Bank Teaching Assistant to join our close-knit team at Bramfield House School located in Halesworth.

About The Role
  1. Assist in the education and care of young people with special education needs as part of ‘one team’.
  2. Support pupils within the classroom to promote independence and assist the teacher in delivering the curriculum.
  3. Provide specialist SEN, subject, or other support to pupils.
General Responsibilities
  1. Build and maintain individual relationships with pupils that are caring and understanding.
  2. Liaise with education and care colleagues regarding pupils’ issues, concerns, or achievements.
  3. Contribute to half-termly planning and reviews, including Progress Reports.
  4. Work one-to-one on specific programs (e.g., behavioural or literacy intervention) as needed.
  5. Supervise pupils during transitions and when they need time out.
  6. Support pupils during break and lunch times with recreational activities.
  7. Present appropriate behaviour standards and act as a role model.
  8. Document incidents and concerns promptly and professionally.
  9. Maintain confidentiality at all times regarding school matters.
