Bank Support Worker – Ty Bronllys, Brecon. Hourly rate £11.50

We’re a leading organisation dedicated to providing exceptional care and support to children and adults with complex needs associated with autism.

About our home Ty Bronllys: Ty Bronllys is nestled in the beautifully scenic Brecon Beacons National Park and offers a charming rural setting, beautiful landscapes, and historic attractions. Our residents enjoy regular walks and hikes in the surrounding areas, visiting the local village, exploring the rolling hills, lush green fields, and engaging with local history, including Bronllys Castle. On other days, they may visit Merthyr for shopping and swimming, or take a walk along the river in Brecon, stopping at a cafe for cake.

A typical day will include: As a Support Worker at Ty Bronllys, you will play a crucial role in supporting our young people’s daily activities, educational needs, and personal development. You will work closely with a dedicated team including teachers, therapists, and other support workers to create a nurturing and inclusive environment.Responsibilities:
  • Provide personalized care to each person in their daily activities, including personal care, learning, and social interactions.
  • Foster a safe and positive environment, ensuring the emotional and physical well-being of each person.
  • Implement individualized care plans under the guidance of a supportive senior team.
  • Support young people during recreational activities, outings, and community integration.
  • Collaborate with the team to maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Promote independence, self-esteem, and confidence, celebrating achievements and milestones.
