Job summary

CareTech Community Services Ltd is seeking a Bank Support Worker for the Lynvor Lynvor service on the Isle of Anglesey, Benllech. The role involves delivering person-centred support to adults with learning disabilities, autism and mental health needs, and working a rota that includes evenings, weekends, bank holidays and sleep-ins.

Willingness to work towards Level 2 QCF and Enhanced DBS is required; driving is desirable but not essential.

Qualifications

• Willingness to work towards Level 2 QCF (Social Care Wales registration)
• Enhanced DBS required (paid for by CareTech)

Responsibilities

• Deliver person-centred support in line with individual support plans
• Assist with daily living skills and personal care where required
• Promote independence, dignity, and wellbeing
• Support activities, appointments, and community access
• Maintain accurate records and work effectively as part of a team
• Work a rota including evenings, weekends, bank holidays, and sleep-ins
