PBS4 is seeking a Bank Support Worker (Enablement Assistant) based in Ryde, Isle of Wight. This part-time temporary role offers £13.50 per hour and focuses on empowering people with learning disabilities and/or autism to achieve their goals and participate in activities of their choosing.
The role supports individuals with varying needs and welcomes applicants with or without prior experience who share PBS4's values, under the guidance of a clinical team.

About the role
We are looking for someone who has a great deal of passion in supporting people with Learning Disabilities and/or Autism or experience in supporting people with behaviours that may challenge. The People we support across Hampshire have different levels of requirements. We value experience in supporting others, but we warmly welcome people without experience who share our values.

PBS4 provides support to enable people with learning disabilities and challenging behaviour to have independent lives and to live in their own home. Our approach is underpinned by Positive Behaviour Support. Positive Behaviour Support is an approach mostly used to support people with learning disabilities whose behaviours challenge others. The goal is to shift the focus away from reducing challenging behaviour to understanding what that behaviour means and supporting people to get what they need better.
