Job Advert Location Description

Located in Llantrisant, Caerlan is a bespoke specialist service for people aged 18 and upwards with autistic spectrum conditions and complex needs. We also accommodate those aged 17 going through transition from children’s services.

This residential service is situated close to the town centre with access to local amenities, bus routes, train stations, and motorways to Welsh cities such as Cardiff, Swansea, and Newport.

Job Advert Role Description

We are currently looking to grow our established team of support workers/care assistants at Caerlan, part of Priory Adult Care.

As a support worker, you will assist residents with daily activities, encouraging independence, and participating in activities outside the home like day trips and charity events.

Our ideal support worker will:

• Be reliable, friendly, and caring to help residents achieve their goals, including personal care
• Support in-house activities and hobbies
• Be attentive and inspiring to residents
• Help manage challenging behaviors with resilience
