A children's support organization in Middlesbrough is seeking a Residential Support Worker to provide essential care and guidance to children and young people with learning disabilities. The ideal candidate will have a passion for supporting vulnerable individuals and possess a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare. Job Title: Residential Support Worker
Location: Middlesbrough – across 1 to 3 homes
Working Hours: Varied – based on the needs of the service
Hourly Rate: £13.00 – £14.00
Number of Sleep-Ins Required: Varied
Pay Per Sleep-In: £50.00 – £60.00
Service Type: Children’s Residential Home
Service Users: Children & Young People with Learning Disabilities and Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (dependent on the home)
Qualifications Desired: Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare is desirable (or equivalent)
Experience Required: Must have experience working with children or young adults who present challenging behaviour
Employment Type: Permanent
DBS: Preferred on the Update Service
References: We must be able to obtain references from all employers within the last 5 years, and from all roles since leaving school where you worked with vulnerable adults or children
Number of Beds: Varies by home
Location: Middlesbrough
