Job summary

Cygnet Victoria House is recruiting a Bank Support Worker to deliver outstanding care in a 26-bed mental health inpatient service for men. You’ll work flexible bank hours and complete mandatory training in the first months, including face-to-face and online modules.

Expect to engage with individuals’ needs, provide physical and emotional support, maintain safety, and collaborate with a supportive team. DBS check is required and learning opportunities are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Enhanced DBS check is required.
• Experience in a care setting is beneficial.
• Willingness to undertake training and development.

You will be required to complete all face to face training within the first 2 months and also complete online training in the first month. Be flexible and able to complete 2-3 shifts per month.This is our 26 bed mental health inpatient service for men. The service, split across two wards, provides a safe and stabilising environment for men who are experiencing an acute episode of mental illness and require an emergency admission.The ethos of our service is about assessing and treating service users in the least restrictive environment and planning for discharge in a robust and timely fashion.
