Job summary

Cygnet Hospital Hexham is seeking an outstanding Bank Support Worker passionate about delivering excellent care. You’ll work flexible bank shifts at the 27-bed women’s mental health unit, providing physical and emotional support and ensuring a safe, clean environment.

You’ll join a supportive team with coaching and appraisal, and DBS checks are required for successful candidates. The role offers flexible hours and a chance to make a real difference in patients’ lives.

Qualifications

• Bank support role focused on delivering excellent care.
• Experience with care planning and welfare needs is desirable.
• DBS check is required for successful candidates.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical and emotional support to service users.
• Offer guidance and encouragement and monitor welfare needs.
• Report on medical and welfare needs as required.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment in the hospital.
