Who you’ll be supporting & more about the role:
  • We are 3 ladies altogether but we live in 2 separate properties. These are just down the road from each other. All of us get along and have a good relationship. 2 of us are fully mobile and require no support with moving around our home. 1 of us can manage around the home but need a wheelchair to access the community
  • We love joining in all kinds of activities from playing board games, cooking, and arts and crafts to going out in the community.
  • Maintaining our relationships with the people we love is important to us we need support in this area
  • We like staff that has similar interests to us, they must be kind, caring and compassionate. We would not get along with people who are bossy, pushing or running around
  • There is 1 staff member on shift at all times. Staff do 11 to 12-hour shifts. Night-time support is a waking night. We all have 1:1 support which is planned week by week depending on what/where we want to go In order to support us to have the best life possible our team has specialized training in all the areas we require
