Job summary

Priory Hillside is seeking a Bank Support Worker to join our residential service near Burnley. You will support three individuals, aged 17+, on the autistic spectrum or with learning disabilities, providing personal care and daily living assistance as needed.

Working a flexible bank pattern, you will join a compassionate team, receive full training, DBS paid for, and access development opportunities within a supportive environment that values dignity and independence for residents.

Qualifications

• Experience within a similar environment.
• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• You will ensure our residents have any personal needs or requirements met; including any personal care, participation in activities or support with daily living tasks
• You'll complete daily admin including updating person centred support and care plans, updating charts and completing accurate daily notes
• Maintain professional relationships whilst developing a good rapport with the people who use our service, their family, colleagues, visitors and other stakeholders
• Provide advice and guidance to less experienced staff undertaking similar duties.

Hillside has an opportunity for a Support Worker to join our team.

Priory Hillside is a residential service, located just outside of Burnley. We provide support to three individuals, aged 17 years and above, who are on the autistic spectrum or who have a learning disability. We also cater for those who may have a mental health diagnosis, including a personality disorder.

Set within a beautiful rural setting, in the South Pennines area, we aim to help residents create and achieve goals, in order to lead a fulfilled and enriched life. Due to the location of the service, access to a vehicle or the ability to drive is recommended.

What you'll be doing

You’ll be part of a dedicated and compassionate team, all working together to ensure the smooth running of the service. Whether you're assisting with day-to-day operations, supporting with care requirements, keeping things organised, or ensuring our spaces are well looked after, your support plays an important part in creating a positive experience for those who live and work here.
