ABOUT THE ROLE
I am a young man, with Learning Disabilities. I am looking for Support Workers to join my existing team to support me within my own home as well as in the community. I require 24-hour support and need support with all aspects of daily living, such as personal care, food preparation, social and emotional support. I would like a Support Worker who would fit in with my existing team and who will support me to lead an independent and fulfilling life. I enjoy arts and crafts and listening to music.
ABOUT YOU
I am looking for individuals with a caring, patient nature to join my team and get to know me, understanding my needs. You need to be honest, calm and have a good sense of humor and a zest for life. Being a good English speaker and a driver with your own car are essential for this post and although training and previous experience will be an advantage it is not essential, as full training will be provided.
