Job Description:

If you have an eye for detail and enjoy creating a safe and clean environment for some of the most vulnerable people in society, then join the team at Reene House as a Bank Support Services Assistant.

Working alongside the housekeeping team, you will be responsible for cleaning all areas of the service, including wards, office spaces, bedrooms, and visitors area. You will also work alongside the catering team to support the chefs, prepare meals, maintain a clean and safe working environment, and assist with deliveries.

As staff bank, pick up available shifts that are best suited to you at £12.85 per hour plus a 12.07% pay uplift and enjoy weekly pay.

You will follow and promote Elysium's cleanliness standards to maintain the safety of service users, staff, and visitors at all times.

As a Support Services Assistant you will be:

  • Providing and maintaining a good level of cleanliness.
  • Completing all housekeeping documents.
  • Reporting any equipment malfunctions.
  • Using the appropriate cleaning equipment.
  • Promoting and following the Government and company measures.
  • Serving service users, staff, and visitors with food and beverages.
  • Maintaining storage procedures and stock rotation.
  • Assisting catering staff with both the preparation and cooking of meals in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures.
  • Work will include bank holidays.

To be successful in this role, you will:

  • Have experience in a similar role and environment.
  • Knowledge of COSHH and HACCP.
  • Have attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
