Job Description:

The Richmond Fellowship Scotland makes a real difference in supporting people with their everyday lives. We have an exciting opportunity to join our services in St Andrews and Tayport as Bank Support Practitioner.Our bank contracts will give youflexibilityover the days and hours you work. Tell us whenyou'reavailable and we'll look to give you shifts to fit.

Ideally we are seeking candidates that can work at least one shift per week.

Due to the nature of this role, we can only consider applicants that hold a UK manual driving licence.

The role:

Make a positive difference in someone's life by joining The Richmond Fellowship Scotland and help support the people who need it most in our communities.

No previous experience in care is required as you will be provided with full training by our excellent and award-winning learning and development team prior to starting. This training initially consists of classroom-based sessions and e-learning as well as the opportunity to be at the start of the journey of an exciting new service where you will shadow current Support Practitioners in their day-to-day role and meet the people you will be supporting.

We are actively looking for staff that have the right values who want to make a positive difference in a person's life. Our staff are working to promote independence in a recovery based model of support. Daily tasks include but are not limited to, daily living tasks, a variety of other support needs and personal care.

To be an amazing Support Practitioner, we'll need you to:

  • Have an empathetic and caring nature
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • IT literate
  • Be able to work well in a team environment and on your own
  • Good organisational skills

Shift Patterns:

Our dedicated team provide tailored support 24/7 and shift patterns include working days, evenings, sleepovers, wakened nights, weekends and bank/public holidays.
