TRFS is seeking a Bank Support Practitioner in Newton Mearns (East Renfrewshire) to provide high-quality, person-centred support on a flexible, as-needed basis. The role focuses on daily living tasks, including meal preparation, personal care, and attendance at appointments, with 2-3 shifts per week as preferred.

This is a Bank (as and when required) role, meaning shifts will be offered based on service needs. If you're looking for full-time, guaranteed hours, this may not be the right fit, but if you want flexibility, we’d love to hear from you.

The Role:

As a Bank Support Practitioner, you will provide high-quality, person-centred support when it’s needed most. You will help ensure consistent support during staff leave, sickness or training. To build trusting relationships with the people we support, we ask that you ideally pick up 2-3 shifts per week.

You will be part of a dedicated and friendly team, supporting individuals with all aspects of daily living including meal preparation, medication, going to appointments and activities, managing personal finances, support with moving and handling and personal care. You’ll also provide emotional support and assist them to maintain relationships with family and friends. Some individuals have complex communication needs and use different communication tools to meet their needs.

Shift Patterns:

• Early shifts from 7:30am
• Late shifts finishing at 9:30pm or 10pm
• Sleepovers
• Waking night
• Weekends and public holidays
