As aBank Support Practitioner, you have theflexibility to choose your shiftsbased on your availability, making it easier to balance work with your lifestyle.

This is a Bank (as and when required) role, meaning shifts will be offered based on service needs. If you're looking for full-time, guaranteed hours, this may not be the right fit, but if you want flexibility, we'd love to hear from you! We recruit on values and transferrable skills and we'll give you all the training you need to be an amazing Bank Support Practitioner and pay you for time.

The Role

As aBank Support Practitioner, you'll providehigh-quality, person-centred care, ensuring continuity of support when colleagues are on leave or attending training. To buildtrusting relationshipswith the people we support, we ask that you ideally pick up1-2 shifts per week.

You'll support individuals with disabilities and/or additional needs, helping them with everything from daily living tasks like meal prep and medication to attending appointments, enjoying activities, and maintaining personal care. Along with practical support, you'll also offer emotional support, help individuals build relationships, and empower them to stay connected with family and friends. The people we support enjoy being active in their communities, from arts and crafts, bingo and shows at the Beacon to watching the football and going out for a tasty bite to eat. We'll be looking to you to take an active interest in their hobbies and enable individuals to explore new ones.

Many of the people we support have their own mobility cars, so it would be desirable if you hold a full UK manual driving licence with a minimum of 1 year's experience on the roads. However, this is not essential to join our team.

To be part of our team, we'll need you to:

Shift Patterns

Our dedicated friendly team provide 24/7 support which is tailored to the needs of each individual, so depending on shift length you may be supporting more than one individual but do not worry as we factor travel into your hours. Our shifts include earlies, days, lates and sleepovers.
