Staff Nurse - Ward

Up to £30 per hour depending on skills and experience

As a Staff Nurse in our hospital, you'll be alert, focused, detail-oriented and empathetic. You're registered with the appropriate governing body, and you bring the qualifications and experience relevant to your registration, including NMC. With post-registration experience, you're a team player with a passion for exceptional patient care.

As a Ward Staff Nurse, you will:

1. Be flexible, motivated, an excellent communicator and team worker
2. Join a close-knit team headed by our matron on our consultant-led ward
3. Fully understand and pay close attention to each patient's needs
4. Work directly with some of the best clinical talent around
5. Gain valuable experience of new practices, equipment and facilities

The Hospital has 28 ensuite inpatient beds, 2 Laminar flow theatres, Endoscopy Suite, minor treatment room and 14 consulting rooms. The hospital delivers a wide variety of inpatient and outpatient treatments and services using the best possible technologies. Since 2015 we have invested in a static MRI unit, a new digital X ray room & digital mammography.

We are a local centre of excellence for Children and Young People Services. Having a Fitness & Wellbeing Gym in Leicester has led to a close working relationship and the Hospital was a forerunner for the Nuffield recovery plus programme. The Hospital has been rated as a 'Good' hospital by the CQC and achieved this rating across the 5 key lines of enquiry across all departments inspected.
