You will:

  • Have a nursing qualification with current NMC registration (RNLD, RMN, or RGN).
  • Be confident and calm under pressure.
  • Have experience working with people with a learning disability.
  • Be flexible, open to challenges, and innovative.
  • Possess clinical expertise or willingness to learn relevant clinical skills.
  • Driving license and willingness to use own transport are desirable.

Your responsibilities:

  • Provide specialist nursing and serve as a role model in direct support to people with learning disabilities.
  • Organize daily work of the support team to ensure appropriate support levels.
  • Support individuals in achieving personal outcomes related to daily life management.
  • Carry out nursing procedures per guidelines.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, families, and stakeholders to ensure continuity of care.
  • Work collaboratively within the nursing team to achieve the best outcomes for supported individuals.
