Job summary

Bright Horizons is seeking a flexible Bank nursery practitioner to join the Bright Flex / Bank team at 44 St Swithin Street, Aberdeen. You will support delivery of the Scottish Curriculum through engaging activities and help with daily tasks.

The role requires Level 3 Early Years qualification, experience with children, and safeguarding knowledge. We offer benefits including pension, childcare discount, enhanced parental leave, and access to professional development.

Qualifications

• Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification.
• Previous experience working with children – Nursery Practitioner, Nursery Nurse, Early Years Educator, Nanny, Childminder or similar.
• Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child.
• Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults.
• Sound understanding of child protection and safeguarding.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of the Scottish Curriculum through engaging children in entertaining and educational activities.
• Encourage development towards key milestones.
• Work as part of a team to complete day-to-day tasks such as room tidying and preparation.
